This is a for-profit blog. I use affiliate links to external sites, such as Amazon.com and as an affiliate I earn money from purchases that you make on those sites. However, I currently have a day job that makes me plenty of money, and am not expecting this blog to replace that income stream. I will only endorse products that I use or have used in the past, and are products I truly believe in. In the case of product reviews, I may link to a product I didn’t like, but the review itself will clearly state my opinion and I don’t expect anyone to purchase it after reading a bad review. At the beginning of each year I will write a post disclosing the finances of the blog and post a survey where you and other readers can vote on a charity that will receive a percentage of the previous year’s profits.
